Tihany, another small village, is located on a peninsula in the northern part of Lake Balaton. The entire peninsula is considered a historical district and is a very cute little village. Windy, hilly streets lines with unique shops and restaurants. Surrounded by Lake Balaton up on a hill with some awesome views.
This was the last stop on our May 13, 2018, day trip. This happened to be a Sunday and everything was closed. This is a definite do over stop and next time, for a whole day.

Régi Idők Udvara Skanzen és Étterem is a very interesting looking restaurant in the little village of Tihany. Unfortuately, it was closed during our visit.
