Darmstadt was part of the 2011 Germany trip through Fox Valley Technical College. I was in the Administrative Professional Associate Degree program and there was a regular annual exchange that took place. Each year in October a group of students from Frankfurt would come to Appleton and attend classes; and in March a group of students from Appleton would go to Frankfurt and attend classes.
As luck would have it, the group was small, so we were allowed to bring another person with us. My mom had never been out of the country and joined on this trip.

The Waldspriale (forest spiral) is a very unique apartment building in Darmstadt. It consists of 12 stories with 105 apartments. No two windows are alike.
