Tapolca, another stop on our May 13, 2018, day trip. Here we walked around exploring while waiting to enter Tapolca Lake Cave, an underwater cave system underneath the town. We spent most of our time at Malom-tó, a mill pond surrounded by several restaurants and a park with a playground. It was nice and cool in the caves, which was welcome due to unseasonably warm weather during my visit to Hungary.
